Hello there! Welcome to Life and Godliness Ministries. We are glad you stopped by.
2 Peter 1:3-4 states that the believer in Christ has been given “All things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
Life and Godliness Ministries was prayerfully established to encourage women of all ages to know and grow in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to point women to Jesus and to find in Him and in His Word all that is needed for every aspect of life.
Life and Godliness Ministries was started on November 1, 2017 by two sisters who desire to encourage women in their walk with the Lord through the Word of God.
Hello! My nickname is Lili, and I am the oldest child in my family. I have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior from sin and my greatest desire is to know Christ more and to live my life as a reflection of Him. In my free time, you might find me reading, studying, crocheting, trying to learn to knit, making handmade cards, journaling, or a variety of other things. I really enjoy board games and having fun with friends and family.
My godly parents sought to teach their children from a young age the importance of believing in Jesus and following Him in life. As a young child, I realized that though I tried to be good, I often failed and disobeyed my parents. When I was about seven or eight years old, I began to understand that this was sin. Even seemingly small things like telling a lie or being mean to a brother or sister were serious in God’s eyes and deserving punishment. God is so holy, so perfect, that He cannot allow any sin in His presence. No matter how hard, I tried; I could not be good enough. I always would fail. However, I also learned that Jesus, God’s perfect Son, came down from heaven and He lived on this earth without ever sinning. Jesus died on a cross, and God poured out on Jesus all the punishment I deserved for my sin. Jesus died on that cross in my place. However, Jesus did not stay dead; three days after He was buried, Jesus came back to life. Now He is in heaven. Growing up, I heard this story many times, but when I was about seven or eight, it finally made sense to me. In the Bible, in Acts 16:31, it says simply, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved.” I chose to believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin and took the punishment I deserved. Because of this belief alone, I know that I am saved.
As I grew older, I began to understand more of what Jesus did for me. My love for Him grew and I knew I wanted to obey Him and serve Him in any way I could. This desire led me to pursue ministry in my local church, primarily in teaching children. After high school, I attended and graduated from a small Bible Institute. My areas of study were: Biblical Discipleship Counseling, Missions, Christian Education in the Local Church, as well as four semesters of Biblical Greek, and two semesters of Biblical Hebrew in addition to the regular Bible classes. At the present time, I have returned to that school and I am working as the Administrative Assistant in the office.
Greetings everyone! I am the third child in the same family as my sister. My name is not actually Berecki (pronounced Bur-eck-ee), but that’s what my friends call me! I am an avid lover of a great variety of hobbies. I enjoy photography, drawing, organizing things, writing, playing musical instruments, singing, learning new languages or accents, and much more. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am a coffee lover, but I enjoy a good cup of tea on occasion as well.
I have been greatly blessed by God in having Godly parents and siblings. From a very young age, I remember hearing the gospel. I knew that Jesus was God who came to earth to live a perfect life as a man then die on a cross to satisfy the punishment of death that God’s righteousness and justice require as payment for sin. I knew that He was buried, rose again after three days, and ascended into Heaven. I knew that everyone was a sinner and all were in need of Jesus’s free gift of salvation. I could have told anyone these truths, but I was not saved by merely knowing them. The condition for salvation, all that is required for us to do is believe, which I had not done. It was not until I was eight years old at summer camp, that I realized my own personal need for salvation. I realized that Christ had died for me, and I believed in His work on the cross to be sufficient payment for sin. I rest in the promise of His Word that, “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:12-13, KJV).
In the years that have followed, I have had an ever-increasing desire to know and serve my Savior. In following that desire, God led me to the same small Bible Institute that my sister attended. I graduated in May 2018, and I am excited to see where the Lord will lead me next. My emphases were in Biblical Discipleship/Counseling, Biblical Languages (Greek and Hebrew), and Missions.
